I had an injury when I was 18 that sent me into a chronic pain cycle and unbalanced life. Which ended up being a blessing in disguise. After many years of seeing every doctor I could with no relief, in 2008 I met a doctor in Lancaster, who introduced me to mindfulness and meditation, which saved my life. Since 2008 I have been studying and practicing the internal arts and medical sciences of China and India. My passion is marrying the ancient wisdom traditions with modern science. The knowledge contained in these internal systems has brought me to an awareness and inspiration about the world, that I have been searching for my whole life. These internal systems have a sophisticated, practical and intuitive internal connection to the flow of life, within and without. These philosophies always reminds me of how truly amazing the human body and mind are and the endless beautiful intelligence of consciousness in the universe. They have given me the tools to be my own teacher and a conscious student of life. A self empowerment that is priceless and something that inspires me everyday. |
